This report details the Hazard, Capacity and Vulnerability Assessment conducted in Can Tho City. This is a participatory process engaging all levels of the city, focusing on the needs of highly vulnerable communities. The activity was coordinated and facilitated by CtC in collaboration with key city partner institutions. One of the purposes of the HCVA in Can Tho was to lay foundation for appropriate future planning to respond to climate change, and to identify how disaster management and climate change resilience planning can be best integrated into the mainstream socio-economic planning of the city.
