Watersheds are essential to the overall health of any ecosystem. The way we develop and respond to the needs of local water systems affects the quality of our drinking water, recreation opportunities, and wildlife habitat. In the face of changing climate threats and improving technology, the time to innovate the way we manage and monitor our watersheds is now.

OpenIDEO is thrilled to announce the launch of its Water Resilience Challenge, in partnership with GoodCompany Ventures and machineQ – a Comcast service. The question is:

"How might we apply new technologies to make agriculture and water systems more resilient in the face of climate threats?"

Top Ideas will be fast-tracked as finalists to the Climate Ventures 2.0 Accelerator and the chance to receive a $25k Impact Grant.
