The Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management (GIDM) is registered as an autonomous institute who has been entrusted with the responsibility of human resource development, capacity building, training, research and documentation in the field of disaster management by the Government of Gujarat (India).

In this direction, GIDM is launching first-of-its-kind 'Certificate Course in Disaster Management and Business Continuity Planning' for Organisations from 8 April, 2017 to 28 May, 2017 (8 weekends – 16 days). This certificate course will be offered in state of the art facility situated at Gandhinagar, Gujarat (India) and experts being called for the module will enable participants to understand and work with key concepts, principles and practices in disaster management, business continuity and preparation of contingency plans with respect to their organizations.
